This project involved the re-alignment of the clubhouse entrance road to facilitate lengthening of main pitch, the work involved the construction of a new entrance footpath from Stillorgan Road to the Clubhouse,
The connection of all surface drainage to a large underground culvert, the removal of existing trees and demolition of the existing boundary walls.The work was carried out whilst maintaining the Right of Way for pedestrians from the surrounding housing estates through the work site.
The new road is bordered by Stillorgan Shopping Centre overflow carpark on one side where a low level concrete rendered wall with steel fencing was erected outside of the footpath, to the rear of the pitch a three meter high concrete block wall running for one hundred meters joins a rubble stone wall with steel fence and decorative stone sign welcoming visitors to Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club.
A new road surface was laid to the clubhouse which added upgraded parking and street lighting.
